The social committee head by Abang Zinal (hhehehe ada g SHS committee tuuu....);-P agreed to led SHS troops an excursion trip to mangroves river safari last Sunday. Check out the memoirs of SHS family to view the sight and experience the wonders of Brunei - the kingdom of unexpected treasures.

Just minutes from the centre of BSB are isolated mangroves where natures still dominates, the boat leaves the centre of Bandar travelling the elderly and new water villages housing towards the mangrove-lined waterways. We moving quietly along the narrow mangrove channels, stopping to listen and look for the birds and animals life that call the mangroves home. We are lucky to observe the shy proboscis monkeys that only can found in Borneo. Our guide explained the ecology and some of the diversity of plant and animal life in the tangle of mangroves, vines, palms and trees.
